What is management quota in MBBS admission?
Management quota is a category of seats in private medical colleges (typically 35–50% of intake) that colleges fill directly rather than through state merit counselling. Admission requires NEET-UG qualification but not a very high rank. Fees are higher than state-quota seats but seat access is more predictable.
How is management quota MBBS different from NRI quota?
Management quota is open to all Indian residents (no NRI sponsor needed) and fees are typically ₹50 L–₹1.1 Cr total. NRI quota requires a verifiable NRI sponsor + documentation and fees run ₹85 L–₹1.5 Cr total. Both are FRA-approved and NMC-recognised.

Does management quota MBBS need NEET qualification?
Yes — every MBBS seat in India (including management quota) requires the candidate to have cleared the NEET-UG qualifying cutoff for their category. For 2026 that's 213 marks for general and 177 for SC/ST/OBC. No exceptions.
Is capitation fee legal in management quota MBBS?
