What makes Telangana different

Worth knowing before you apply.

  • Telangana has one of the lowest government MBBS fees in India (₹10–15k/year for state quota)
  • Cat-B Management quota fees are significantly lower than Maharashtra/Karnataka equivalents
  • Color coding from source sheet (green = active partner, red = sold-out tier) preserved on individual college pages
FAQs

Direct MBBS in Telangana — questions answered.

What's the difference between Category A, B and C in Telangana?

Category A is the 85% state quota (convener) for Telangana domicile candidates with high NEET scores. Category B is Management quota with higher fees (~₹11–13L/yr), open to all. Category C is NRI quota (~₹22–29L/yr) requiring NRI sponsor documentation.

Can a non-Telangana candidate get MBBS in Telangana?

Yes — through Category B (Management quota) and Category C (NRI). Category A requires Telangana domicile. AIQ 15% in government colleges is also open to all-India candidates.

Which are the best private medical colleges in Telangana under NRI quota?

Mamata Khammam, Apollo Hyderabad, Kamineni Hyderabad + Narketpally, Mediciti, Malla Reddy and MNR Sangareddy are among the most-requested. Each has its own facilities, NEET cutoff history and fee structure.
