Yes — NMC-listed medical colleges in Nepal award MBBS degrees recognised in India. Graduates must clear FMGE / NExT (per prevailing NMC rules) to practise in India — same rule as any foreign MBBS.

How cold does the winter get in these countries?
Nepal (Kathmandu): 0-15°C Dec-Feb — similar to Delhi. Uzbekistan (Tashkent): -5 to 5°C Dec-Feb. Russia: -10 to -20°C Moscow, milder in southern universities (Rostov, Kuban), severe -25 to -35°C in Siberian universities. Budget winter clothing ₹15-25K for Russia + Uzbekistan.
Is vegetarian / Indian food available abroad?
Nepal: excellent — very similar to Indian food. Uzbekistan: limited outside campus, most students self-cook or use Indian mess arrangements. Russia: depends on city (Moscow, Kazan, Ufa have Indian food; regional cities require self-cooking + Indian mess subscriptions).
Can I visit home from these countries during breaks?
Nepal: very easy — road + flight both direct, 1-2 hours. Uzbekistan: direct flights from Delhi/Mumbai (~3 hrs); most students visit during summer break. Russia: 6-9 hours via Dubai/Istanbul (direct flights limited in 2026); typically summer break only. Budget ₹30-50K for Russia round-trip.
Can I do my final year internship in India?
Yes — many SG students return to India after year 5 and do their internship at Indian teaching hospitals (subject to individual college policy + current NMC rules). This often helps FMGE/NExT preparation continuity. SG coordinates this planning during year 4.
