Yes — NMC-listed medical colleges in Nepal award MBBS degrees recognised in India. Graduates must clear FMGE / NExT (per prevailing NMC rules) to practise in India — same rule as any foreign MBBS.

How much does MBBS in Nepal cost via SG Education?

Do I need NEET UG for MBBS abroad?

Yes. Since NMC's 2018 notification, NEET UG qualification (213 general / 177 reserved for 2026) is mandatory for any Indian citizen pursuing MBBS in any country.

What is FMGE / NExT?

The exam Indian students who graduate MBBS abroad must clear to practise in India. Currently FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Examination) — being transitioned to NExT (National Exit Test). Check current NMC rules at graduation time.
